The session was an amazing mix of romance, fun and incredible beauty. We started at the very cool authentic telephone booth from England, to which I’m so very appreciative it’s owner came by and asked if we wanted it opened (yeah!) and then we strolled around town for a bit and headed to a field for sunset. It was cloudy and cool, but near the end the clouds started to break and the sky filled with beautiful tones of blue and pink. When the bride first told me how much she wanted photos in the red phone booth, in the alley, and in a field, I really wanted to fulfill those dreams for her. I feel like we did, and then some. I may be biased, but these images are incomparable to those from their wedding day. We just couldn’t fit creative couple portraits into their wedding day and so we opted to do another session after they got back from their honeymoon. I really wanted to have the session be focused on them as a couple, experiencing the gift they are to one another.
So, what is a Together Session exactly? It’s my version of a… day-after, bridal, rock-the-dress, trash-the-dress, type of session. There will certainly be a lot of staring, snuggling, kissing and smiling involved. (Easy stuff, right?) With adding this session onto a wedding package (or even years later) there isn’t the pressure of having to fit in enough time before the ceremony or squeeze a few shots in before heading off to the reception. Of course we take the formal portraits on the wedding day, that’s a must, but these are just different.
Stunning!! I love them all, but my fave is the one of them sitting together in the brown field.
