Although this couple is anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little boy, their adorable curly blonde cutie pie isn’t as excited, she likes being the baby.

Pregnancy curves are beautiful and feminine. These last few shots are some of my most favorite because in their simplicity they show just how stunning an expecting mother is.

Their love and happiness radiates every time they are close to one another…

During today’s maternity session I found out that big-sister-to-be isn’t fond of the idea that she won’t be the baby for much longer…so for now we’ll just let her and her “Bear” be the center of attention. Who could resist those blue eyes, that curly hair, AND THAT SMILE? Oh goodness, such a cutie!

This couple is so completely in love that I said “too cute” way more than I should have, I just couldn’t help myself! Here are a couple from today…and congratulations you two!

This family will be adding one more in just a few weeks, and this soon-to-be big brother was beaming with excitement during the entire session. With such sweet parents and an awesome brother, their little one is sure lucky!

I guess when you are a six-year old boy it’s just not cool to say “I love you Mom” so he has his own way of saying it…and I love that ;)

Maternity Session + Favorites

February 12, 2012

It was such an amazing sun-filled weekend for this session and was thrilled to take a walk along the Silverdale waterfront with this fun family…which will be +1 in just a few more weeks.

Today was another beautiful sunny day and I’m happy to share this family who will soon be welcoming another little guy. Although I’m pretty sure he had said he was excited to be a big brother, he was having too much fun finding rocks, and even gave me one to keep :)

Family Maternity Session in the Sunlight

In just a few weeks we won’t have to imagine just how beautiful her baby girl will be, but for now that’s just what we’ll have to do :)

We started the session outside, where the forecast of snow in Silverdale ended up as only a dusting of frost across the grass. After a bit of chilly weather photos, we headed back inside the studio for some portraits of her beautiful pregnancy curves. A few more outside on the waterfront as the water was just so serene, and this session was a wrap. I’m anxious to meet their little one, who should be here in a few more weeks :)
