Just one for now of this four day old cutie. Since he was so squishy sweet I had planned some of him “au natural”, however he was only content when I swaddled him tightly. Such an adorable little bean (a nickname his mom gave him) which I’ll have plenty more to share soon.

Haven’t you heard that wonderful surprises come in small packages? Making an early debut into the world at just under 5 lbs. he has definitely won the hearts of everyone in his family (except for the cat – hehe). He is absolute sweetness and I am excited to share this peek from his session today. His room his woodland themed and so adorable that I had to incorporate it.
This one week old angel reminded me that patience pays off. As he drifted off to dreamland, he smiled a few times and then fell asleep long enough for me to photograph each darling detail. Here are some of my favorites of this little guy’s session…
I don’t see how you can get any cuter than this little guy. He is absolutely adorable!! Just in case I missed the first smile he gave me a couple more to catch…he even smiled on his 3D ultrasound so I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised. As long as he could snuggle his mommy he was happy and I have to tell you little one, your momma certainly loves you beyond words. You are truly your mom’s love song.

I ♥ newborns and since this week’s challenge is all about babies I thought I’d enter one from my last newborn session…she was simply sweet perfection! By being a maternity and newborn photographer, I’m able to help families celebrate this new life through photography. I get to share in their anticipation and excitement…and capture their belly and their baby exactly as they are…beautiful.

This little lady had two requirements for her session: having a full belly and being tightly swaddled; the moment I tried to unbundle her she let me know that wasn’t going to work for her. Hehe. Only four days old and this little lady knows exactly what she wants, and how can you look at her sweet little face and not give her just that? So I swaddled her in yellow and she drifted off to sleep. More to share soon!
Her squishy little cheeks and perfect pink lips were so adorable that I had to make sure to capture them just as they were at four days old. So new and so beautiful, she was just as easygoing as her parents so I have quite a few session favorites of this little one that I wanted to share.
Just four days old and sweet as can be! She was a surprise coming two weeks before she was due and to finally found out that baby was a girl…very exciting and just so perfect! I was actually doing a couple test shots and she gave me this big smile, I just had to share that one in her sneak peek. Even though she is so new, she was very alert and I have quite a few adorable awake photos of this little princess. It was so nice to finally meet Dad and the grandparents who traveled from afar, I’m so glad we were able to get some of you too! I’ll have many more to share very soon.
