For a day that called for rain we saw sun as soon as the session began. That worked perfectly since this senior is much happier in the sunshine. My studio in Old Town Silverdale is right by the waterfront and was a great place to start. Session continued on a separate post > HERE

Soon we will be seeing more Fall colors and much cooler weather, so I was happy to get another warm and partly sunny day in the field. If this senior wasn’t already considering a career in interior design, I’d say she’s got one in modeling.

Now that Daddy is back home (for good – yay!) we did a session with this happy family together. He has such big beautiful blue eyes and was full of smiles. My how he’s grown since his newborn session!
Its obvious who is smiling here, but I’m sure that his Mommy & Daddy were too (because I know I was!). I’m so happy to see this little family is finally together and although I will miss them terribly when they move, I am so honored to have been able to capture this time in their life. In case you missed his BEFORE or AFTER sessions…Undoubtedly this will be the only little guy who as a newborn can master “Blue Steel” 
This may be the first of future “Pumps & Paws” sessions since I had such a great time with my good friend and her gal-pal. The resulting photos are a gift for someone who loves that both of these beautiful ladies are in his life. Well, if you’ve seen my work before you might have noticed that I can’t resist a photo-op of a pair of pumps, so why would a pair of paws be any different?
Pardon the pun, but pet photography is another breed of photography and it sure was a fun new challenge for me.

His eyes are as clear blue as the sky was today. A handsome handful who has grown so much from the little bundle he was at his newborn session eight months ago. This time around was a bit more of an effort to get him to look my way, after all, there is so much of the world to see. Two for today as it was such a beautiful sunny day in the Northwest and his smiles just made the day that much brighter.
I like to get to know a little bit about someone before a session so that I can make the experience about them. Since he’s a pilot in the Air Force and they both enjoy flying, I thought it would be fun to start off by making paper airplanes. Up for anything, it turned out to be a great way to get to know them better. My favorite question to ask is, “So how did you two meet?” because its usually answered with a giggle, a smile, and then their unique story. It was so great getting to meet them and share their together-time before he headed back. Thank goodness for hand warmers, a beautiful sunset, and a wonderful couple which made this session a favorite of mine. Hang tight while the images load, I had a hard time narrowing down the images for a post. Can you tell I’m a sucker for a kissy picture?
