If I could only use one word to describe Cherie and Bobby’s wedding, it would be intimate. Having only a few family and friends to celebrate your special moment with you affords you the time throughout the day to spend time with each and every one of them.
The ceremony and reception was held at the bride’s mother’s home, which I could write a whole post about, it was absolutely beautiful, and decorated with some amazing artwork (which I discovered was painted by the bride – wow!). The groom’s son played the violin as the bride walked down from the house to meet her groom at the end of the aisle. The ceremony took place overlooking the Hood Canal. The skies were clear, the day was spectacular. I noticed that besides myself and one of her friends taking a video of the day, there wasn’t one person with a camera during the ceremony. No barrage of flashes or clicks, just each person enjoying seeing two wonderful people getting married. The ceremony was followed by a wonderful sit down lunch where they truly had time to chat and enjoy one another’s company.
It’s obvious to see that Cherie and Bobby are in love when you see them together, but there’s more to it than that. There’s this magic when you watch them from a distance, they look at each other as if they have their own private space in the world. By the time you get to the end of this post, you’ll have seen it too.
Their wedding was not only intimate, but it was a gorgeous day on the Hood Canal. It honestly could not have been more perfect.
