It was so fun to see Miss E again, who has grown so much since her newborn session. She’s now 6 months old and so cute with this sweet little smile!

Silverdale Baby Session + Sneak Peek
January 1, 2012This little one was ready to meet the world much earlier than anticipated. When he was born he wasn’t yet 5 lbs., now nearly 7 weeks old he’s closer to the 8 lbs. he probably would have been. Though he would have rather stay awake, he decided to give in and let me have the “one minute asleep” I asked for at the end of his session to get this shot

November 20, 2011Another beautiful little baby girl to share. One of the questions I’m most asked is “Do you have hats and props?” I sure have a variety to choose from and usually put aside several options for you based on the nursery or favorite colors, though I love when a parent brings in something special, like a hat they made (the one below that has all the pretty stripes is one her mom knitted) or a big bold flower hat. It sure will give them some perspective on just how little they were when they see how small that hat was and how well it fit them once

September 8, 2011I adore each and every one of my wonderful newborn clients, they are sweet little miracles and I love being able to document their itty-bitty-ness. During a feeding break, I even snapped a few of her older brother, who is adjusting quite well to having “his baby” home. A wonderful sleeper, a perfect little bundle, and a true joy to photograph – don’t miss the wonderful smile she gave her Mommy at the end….awwdorable!

July 11, 2011Every little smile, each little coo, was just so sweet. She was snuggly and curled, sound asleep (with a cute little “wheeze” of a snore), and truly just a little love to photograph. She even gave me a big smile for portraits with her Mommy & Daddy…I couldn’t have asked for more. Baby girl, you make your parents as happy as can be by filling their lives with love you can see.
Thank you both, from the bottom of my heart, for choosing me to capture your little one’s life from belly, to baby, and the year to follow. I am excited to watch her grow and spend more time with your wonderful little family. *HUGS*

April 12, 2011Asleep or awake, all this little guy really wanted was to be snuggled. I think its cute how most newborns insist on having their hands by their face – and this time no matter how hard I tried to keep his wrapped up, he would pop those little fists out and get them just where he wanted. He knows what he wants and he’s going to get it of course, how could you look at his sweet face and not give in?
