September 2, 2011Now that Daddy is back home (for good – yay!) we did a session with this happy family together. He has such big beautiful blue eyes and was full of smiles. My how he’s grown since his newborn session!

August 22, 2011Another little lady as sweet as can be… During a little break I was able to take a peek into her bird-themed nursery. Such delicate handmade details from beautiful watercolor art by her Momma to a wonderful patchwork bird mobile above her crib. You could tell everything was put together with such care and made with such love.

July 22, 2011We decided to reschedule due to rain and the next day’s forecast looked clear. So I was a bit surprised when it was cloudy to start…and then…the clouds parted and glorious blue skies and sunshine – yay! As if this beautiful expecting mom wasn’t glowing enough, when the sun came out it wrapped her in light. There is so much love that awaits their little girl. You may have seen a glimpse of the wonderful anticipation on their sneak peek, but here are a few of my favorites from their outdoor maternity session.

Newborn Session + Favorites
July 11, 2011Every little smile, each little coo, was just so sweet. She was snuggly and curled, sound asleep (with a cute little “wheeze” of a snore), and truly just a little love to photograph. She even gave me a big smile for portraits with her Mommy & Daddy…I couldn’t have asked for more. Baby girl, you make your parents as happy as can be by filling their lives with love you can see.
Thank you both, from the bottom of my heart, for choosing me to capture your little one’s life from belly, to baby, and the year to follow. I am excited to watch her grow and spend more time with your wonderful little family. *HUGS*

June 6, 2011You may have seen his sneak peek with his Winnie the Pooh friends, but I have a few more I wanted to share. When I think of Winnie the Pooh, I think of the green leaves of the trees in Hundred Acre Wood and fortunately for me this little guy looks great in green. After a break to fill his tummy we switched it up and he looks adorable in blue too

Newborn Session + Favorites
May 26, 2011Today this little one is also one month old and he was just eleven days new for his session. He must have been anxious to see the world because he decided to enter it a bit early, though he is as perfect as can be…with quite the expressive personality (just like his Daddy). Wrapped up in Daddy’s shirt and feeling inspired to give us a great big smile and his best “Blue Steel” impression…nicely done. While his Daddy was out to sea, this little guy spent a lot of time snuggled in his shirt, such a sweet way to keep Daddy around at all times. When it came time for a few photos with Mommy he gave us “two thumbs up” which really made my day and then a little grin.

May 26, 2011Today he is exactly one month old, but when I met this handsome fellow for his session he was only 5 days new. I just love the bit of humor a sock monkey hat adds to a photo…it makes me giggle every time I look at it. At the end of his session he smiled for Mommy and snuggled with Daddy, so sweet!
