February 18, 2012At nine days new he would have much rather stayed snuggled in your arms than having his photo taken, but he did close his eyes eventually and caught these sweet and sleepy pictures. Of course I threw in one of him awake too just so you could see his adorable “Whatcha doin’?” expression

When he was born he wasn’t yet 5 lbs., now nearly 7 weeks old he’s closer to the 8 lbs. he probably would have been. Though he would have rather stay awake, he decided to give in and let me have the “one minute asleep” I asked for at the end of his session to get this shot

December 22, 2011As you can imagine during a newborn session its pretty quiet, there’s the sound of my camera clicking away and some chatting to get to know the parents. Though on occasion there will be a long pause…when I’ve got my camera up and just waiting for it…then all of a sudden you’ll hear a consecutive click click click and I’ve caught it.
