I have more than just the sneak peek to share of this sweetheart who was as precious as could be at six days new.

When I got this little basket I had no idea just how well it would suit this five day new 10 pound baby boy. Curious as to why? His name is “Irish” :)

Port Orchard Newborn + 9 Days

February 18, 2012

At nine days new he would have much rather stayed snuggled in your arms than having his photo taken, but he did close his eyes eventually and caught these sweet and sleepy pictures. Of course I threw in one of him awake too just so you could see his adorable “Whatcha doin’?” expression :)

Why is it that everyone looks cuter with mouse ears? Even when you start out with this already adorable little fellow who is 7 days new. Just perfect for his themed nursery :)

(Side note: This image is a “composite”, two images have been merged together to create a final portrait which doesn’t show that Mom’s hands are keeping his head supported as I take the photo.)

He had been eager to meet the world, so bright eyed and sweet. The stillness of a winter morning and quiet of a warm studio…perfect for a little nap.
