Bethany had a vision for a wedding day full of country charm. I was so excited to see her ideas come together, and that they did! They chose the Kitsap Memorial State Park as their ceremony and reception venue…such a perfect rustic location. From the invites with bandana red paisley right down to the cake topper of the bride lassoing her groom (nice wrangling!), everything had such a fun country theme. The bride’s gown from Off the Rack Bridal Shoppe in Silverdale was paired with bright red cowgirl boots to match her red rose bouquet. The mason jars full of black-eyed Susans, sunflowers, red roses and hydrangea were gorgeous. There were cowboy boots and hats (can I get a yee haw?!) and the fence at the edge of the park was a perfect prop for photos. Just imagine a pasture on the other side instead of the Puget Sound
Bethany & Noel chose to have the ceremony take place amongst the tall trees at the park, which at that time of day was dappled in sunshine. Watching two people declare their love for one another is a beautiful thing and I’m very grateful that I not only get to witness it over and over but I also get to capture it. They shared communion together, followed by a prayer and then poured sand during the ceremony to unite them as a family.
The ceiling in the main reception log structure had been decorated with twinkling lights for the perfect touch of ambiance. The guests were treated to delicious food and fixings with sparkling apple cider to wet your whistle. Everything had been set for such a great relaxed, down-home family feeling. During the dance between Bethany and her father, Noel and his daughter shared a dance and it was so incredibly sweet. Since the weather was warm, the doors to the log structure were open so guests could look out onto the view of the water, which is just past the fence and trees. At the end of the day, the view was beautiful, as was their wedding!
Their sneak peek was easy, but I had a hard time as usual narrowing down their images for their wedding story, so hold your horses!
