He had been eager to meet the world, so bright eyed and sweet. The stillness of a winter morning and quiet of a warm studio…perfect for a little nap.

As you can imagine during a newborn session its pretty quiet, there’s the sound of my camera clicking away and some chatting to get to know the parents. Though on occasion there will be a long pause…when I’ve got my camera up and just waiting for it…then all of a sudden you’ll hear a consecutive click click click and I’ve caught it. Want to know what I’m talking about? Take a look at this little guy’s adorable grin

One month old and still willing to curl up for a quick nap. Today was a perfect day…for staying inside and being all snuggled up.

From her sneak peek you could already see this little one couldn’t be any cuter. Of course I have a few more favorites to share

I adore each and every one of my wonderful newborn clients, they are sweet little miracles and I love being able to document their itty-bitty-ness. During a feeding break, I even snapped a few of her older brother, who is adjusting quite well to having “his baby” home. A wonderful sleeper, a perfect little bundle, and a true joy to photograph – don’t miss the wonderful smile she gave her Mommy at the end….awwdorable!

I ♥ newborn sessions – if you are expecting your little one soon FIND OUT MORE
The world is happy to welcome you little darling…four days new and such a delight.

Today this little one is also one month old and he was just eleven days new for his session. He must have been anxious to see the world because he decided to enter it a bit early, though he is as perfect as can be…with quite the expressive personality (just like his Daddy). Wrapped up in Daddy’s shirt and feeling inspired to give us a great big smile and his best “Blue Steel” impression…nicely done. While his Daddy was out to sea, this little guy spent a lot of time snuggled in his shirt, such a sweet way to keep Daddy around at all times. When it came time for a few photos with Mommy he gave us “two thumbs up” which really made my day and then a little grin.

Today he is exactly one month old, but when I met this handsome fellow for his session he was only 5 days new. I just love the bit of humor a sock monkey hat adds to a photo…it makes me giggle every time I look at it. At the end of his session he smiled for Mommy and snuggled with Daddy, so sweet!

Its hard to believe this handsome little boy is actually three months old. He smiled, he cooed, and even fell asleep. Aside from his perfectly creamy complexion he has incredibly long lashes and lips that I’m envious of. He’ll win your heart for sure!

Patience and persistence often pays off and certainly with this newborn it did. A few tries for a pose (he tended to “spring loose” from it each time) and then he finally kept it for just a couple seconds, long enough for me to photograph him. He already has a sense of humor, sticking out his tongue, scowling, sneezing…I have quite a few out-takes and quite a few favorites. Below are some of my favorites of this sweet little blue-eyed boy.
