There is often a quiet excitement when a couple is expecting their first child. Still enjoying the time when its just the two of them and yet anxious to snuggle their little one. I feel lucky to meet them during this time when they interact with each other and the anticipation of baby…and then I see them as parents, sharing that love with their new addition. Here are my favorites of another wonderfully sweet couple who will soon be sharing their snuggles with their little guy.
On this cold and gray December day I finally got to meet this sweet and quiet couple. She had booked a belly to baby session shortly after finding out she was expecting and I have been looking forward to meeting them ever since. Here is a sneak peek of their session…weather like this is best when snuggled with one another. 
This couple was a lot of fun to photograph and to be around. When I’m doing a lifestyle / casual style session like this, its more about directing rather than posing. They were so quick to interact with one another on their own, creating a situation that is natural and resulting in a photograph that is genuine and emotional. I have a feeling their baby boy will be smiling during his session too with all of the love and laughter this couple shares.

Today I’ll admit that a part of me was singing “Rain, rain, go away, I know you’ll be back, just make it another day” but its the way it goes…thank goodness for rainboots, umbrellas, and a super sweet couple to work with
With the Dad expected home the day baby is due, this family will be sharing some wonderful moments together soon – so I wanted to share my favorites from her session before their arrival. She was one of the sweetest people I’ve met and can only imagine her little girl will be bringing such joy to their home. Oh and I’m sure she’ll have her big brother wrapped around her little finger as soon as she arrives.
Here is a sneak peek of today’s session with J. She is a mother to an adorable little boy, but this time is expecting a girl! [J - I know I said two, but really I thought this one was just so WOW that I wanted to make it the only one for now, I promise your others will be up soon!] This was such an easygoing session…her calming personality just made everything seem so effortless.
