Such delicate handmade details from beautiful watercolor art by her Momma to a wonderful patchwork bird mobile above her crib. You could tell everything was put together with such care and made with such love.

May 8, 2011This is a very special Mother’s Day for several women I know, because its their very first as a Mommy. Those first overwhelming days of exhaustion later turn into memories of snuggling and the sweetest sleepy smiles. I feel so privileged to photograph such a special time as their lives are just beginning…both as a baby…and as a Mommy. You hold a miracle in your arms and an amazing kind of love in your heart. May 7, 2011The couple from the maternity session just a few weeks ago welcomed their baby boy a bit early. Well, quite a bit early…but at least Daddy was able to watch his son be born via Skype (he was deployed at the time). So of course, he did smile during his session…this one is for Daddy
