This sweet and snuggly little guy was in the studio today…and just five days new. ♥

Why is it that everyone looks cuter with mouse ears? Even when you start out with this already adorable little fellow who is 7 days new. Just perfect for his themed nursery

(Side note: This image is a “composite”, two images have been merged together to create a final portrait which doesn’t show that Mom’s hands are keeping his head supported as I take the photo.)
As you can imagine during a newborn session its pretty quiet, there’s the sound of my camera clicking away and some chatting to get to know the parents. Though on occasion there will be a long pause…when I’ve got my camera up and just waiting for it…then all of a sudden you’ll hear a consecutive click click click and I’ve caught it. Want to know what I’m talking about? Take a look at this little guy’s adorable grin

When they are so new I don’t often see a smile when they are awake, usually when they are dreaming of happy little things, but she gave me a great big I-see-dimples-smile and then stared out the window for a little while before she closed her eyes.

Seven days new and today she thought it more interesting to see the world around her than take a long snooze (so many new things to look at of course!). Though she would close her eyes for a few moments at a time, just enough for some sweet sleepy shots, like the one below.

I’ve been wanting to use my antique doll stroller for awhile now and today I was able to have this little sweetheart in it *happy dance*.

You may have seen his sneak peek with his Winnie the Pooh friends, but I have a few more I wanted to share. When I think of Winnie the Pooh, I think of the green leaves of the trees in Hundred Acre Wood and fortunately for me this little guy looks great in green. After a break to fill his tummy we switched it up and he looks adorable in blue too

Pretty in pink with a perfect little pout. She was five days new for her photo debut and her parents couldn’t adore her more. They made a special trip all the way over to the Kitsap Peninsula and I hear she was a wonderful little traveler. She was also wonderful during her session, oh so sleepy and just so squishy sweet that it was hard to resist scooping her up and snuggling her. The adorable little bows were custom ordered from Little Wishing Tree ♥

Five days new and a wee bit early. I had the honor of photographing her today as her wonderful parents again made the trip by ferry across just so I could photograph their little penni (who evidently didn’t want to miss out on spending Mother’s Day in her Mommy’s arms this year). She was so sweet and good for me, can’t you tell?
