Cake Smash Session to celebrate turning one

Time has flown by, I can hardly believe this little sweetheart is now a one year old. Even though I’ve seen her every three months since she was born it still feels like yesterday that her sweet parents contacted me for their maternity session. It’s been an absolute joy seeing getting to know them this year and I look forward to seeing them again soon. Mom brought in heels with pearls and those letter signs you can get and she modeled them perfectly 🙂

I always tell parents to let kids practice with sweets/cakes before the cake smash session and her mom let me know that they’ve tried everything and she was simply not a fan (except for ice cream). We tried anyway, since it’s part of her story that she’s not a fan of cakes, and at least she tried it. She definitely enjoyed dancing to the music I was playing for her which was so adorable and she kept busy using the “1” cake topper to dig into the cake. So cute!

(In case you were wondering, it was another delicious cake by Bella Bella Cupcakes) A cake smash session is a great way to make this milestone fun and memorable. Are you thinking about a special cake smash session for your just turning one year old? Email me for details and availability.
