One thing on the to-do list as you enter your senior year in High School is to have senior portraits taken. A little extra planning goes a long way in making sure your session is amazing. The Summer before starting your senior year or early Fall is a perfect time in the Pacific Northwest for your session. The weather is usually beautiful and scheduling is often more flexible. Once you start school and the activities that come along with that, your schedule it becomes more difficult and that yearbook deadline approaches quickly.
This session was so much fun as we went from in-studio shots with casual wear to an incredible prom dress the on-location outdoor photos near the waterfront by my studio and finished with a couple outfits in another location. Normally when it comes to senior portraits I love the outdoor environment, the beautiful sunlight and natural backdrops – though I have to say that the photos in the studio are some of my favorites as well. It’s a great option for something a little more simple and classic before heading outside.
I am amazed that this High School Senior is fluent in multiple languages and eager to learn more. Her gorgeous smile and sweet demeanor certainly shine through in her portraits.
